Grab your sun hat, festival chair and CityVibe,the City of Victoria’s guide to more than 200 free events, summer festivals, arts and cultural activities, museums, galleries and public markets.

Victoria is the place to be this summer and it’s all happening over the course of 120 days from May to September.

The easy-to-use online format means event details and venue maps can be accessed at home or on the go. Please drop by City Hall if you’d like to pick up a printed copy. 

The guide showcases over 40 festivals and celebrations, over 150 free outdoor music concerts and activities and more.

Music in the Park locations include:

Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park

Fisherman’s Wharf Park

All festivals and celebrations in the guide are recipients of the City’s annual Festival Investment Grant. Over the past 24 years, the City has awarded more than $4 million to local non-profit arts and culture organizations. Recipients range from neighbourhood groups hosting events like the Selkirk Waterfront Festival and FernFest, to citywide celebrations like Pride Week events and Symphony in the Summer. This year Canada Day in Victoria will be a community-led event, supported in part by FIG funding.
