City of Victoria facilities will observe Good Friday and Easter Monday holiday schedule as outlined below. Police, fire and those providing emergency street and utility services will be available 24/7.

Curbside organics and garbage collection

Saturday yard and garden waste drop-off
Drop-off at the Public Works yard will be closed on Saturday, April 4. This service is for Victoria residents only and not for commercial use. For more information, call 250.361.0400 or view the Yard & Garden Waste webpage.
Emergency streets and utility services
Emergency street and utility services will not be affected by the holiday schedule. These services can be reached anytime at 250.361.0400.
Parking
Parking will be free at City parkades and on-street meters on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6. City of Victoria parkades are always free on Sundays, holidays and daily after 8 p.m. Learn more about parking downtown.
