VICTORIA, B.C. — Starting Monday, November 17, a section of the Galloping Goose Trail through Viaduct Park will be closed on weekdays for five weeks to support critical infrastructure upgrades led by BC Hydro.

Detour maps and signage will be posted along the one-kilometre detour route. The trail will remain open on weekends.

This work supports the Victoria to Esquimalt Cable Replacement Project, which will replace a corroded underground transmission cable to improve reliability and address seismic risks. For more information and project updates, Victoria to Esquimalt Cable Replacement Project
