City of Victoria facilities will be observing the holiday season schedule below. Police, fire and those who provide emergency streets and utility services are available 24/7.
City Hall, Beacon Hill Park Maintenance Yard, Public Works Yard
- December 24 – closed
- December 25 - closed
- December 26 - closed
- December 27 - closed
- January 2 - closed
Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre
- December 24 - closed
- December 25 - closed
- December 26 - closed
- December 31 - closes at 1 p.m.
- January 1 - closed
Organics and Garbage Collection
Organics and Garbage Collection will not occur on December 26 and 27, 2022 and January 2, 2023.
Saturday Garden Waste Drop-off
The Saturday Garden Waste Drop-off at the Public Works Yard will be closed on December 24 and 31. It will re-open on Saturday, January 7 from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Emergency Streets and Utilities Services
Emergency streets and utility services are not affected by the holidays and can be contacted day or night at 250.361.0400.
Parking
Parking downtown at on-street meters and at City parkades will be FREE on December 25 and 26, 2022 and on January 1, 2023. Pay parking at the City’s surface parking lots is in effect 24/7.
