Council Member Motion: Endorsement of Police Act Review Recommendations
Council has endorsed the recommendations of the Special Committee of the Legislative Assembly on Reforming the Police Act. The Mayor will write, on behalf of Council, to the Premier of British Columbia and the Solicitor General of British Columbia, copying members of the Legislative Assembly, indicating the City of Victoria’s support for the timely implementation of the recommendations of the Special Committee of the Legislative Assembly on Reforming the Police Act.
