PUBLIC HEARING: 1114 and 1116 McClure Street – Rezoning Application and Development Permit with Variances
Following a Public Hearing, Council voted to approve a Rezoning Application and Development Permit with Variances for 1114 and 1116 McClure Street. This application will allow for construction of a multiple dwelling building. 

PUBLIC HEARING: 1025 Summit Avenue – Rezoning Application, Development Permit with Variances and Development Variance Permit
Following a Public Hearing, Council voted to approve a Rezoning Application, Development Permit with Variances and Development Variance Permit for 1025 Summit Avenue. This application will allow for construction of a single family dwelling on a small lot.

Local Government Recommendation for Vancouver Island Brewing, 2330 Government Street
An application to the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch for Vancouver Island Brewing has been endorsed by City Council. This application would allow for the addition of a 33-person outdoor patio area to the existing manufacturer lounge licence. The existing hours would be maintained.

Tiny Homes Village Licence Extension
The City will extend an agreement for the Licence of Occupation with Our Place Society to extend the temporary purpose-built transitional housing Tiny Home Village until September 30th, 2023, located on the Royal Athletic Park parking lot. This authorization is subject to all current licence provisions and to agreement by BC Housing to assume and fund costs, during the extension period, previously funded by the City associated with Tiny Homes, including utilities, maintenance and 24/7 security and that Council strongly encourages BC Housing to consider additional security for the perimeter and vicinity of the Tiny Town Village to mitigate any negative impacts to the community in consultation with neighbours in the proximity of Tiny Town Village, as the project comes to an end. The City will notify the licensee Our Place Society, the project funder BC Housing, and the modular unit supplier Alliance to End Homelessness in the Capital Region, that there will be no further licence extensions beyond September 30th, 2023.

Project Plan for Feasibility Study and Costing – Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre Replacement
Council has directed staff include in the 2023 Financial Plan a budget $1,778,000 for the Crystal Pool Replacement Project with funding from the Buildings and Infrastructure Reserve.
