Tour de Victoria: What you need to know

The annual Tour de Victoria returns on Saturday, August 16, bringing up to 2,500 cyclists to the streets of Greater Victoria for a one-day cycling celebration.

Expect road closures and traffic disruptions throughout downtown Victoria.

Road Closures

  • Menzies St. (Belleville to Quebec St.): 4 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Government St. (Humboldt to Superior St.): 6-9:30 a.m.
  • Dallas Road. (Crescent Rd. to Belleville and Oswego St. , incl. connecting streets): 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • Belleville St.
    • (Government to Menzies St.): 4 a.m.-8 p.m.
    • (Menzies to Oswego St.): 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
    • (Oswego to Pendray St.): 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Getting There

  • Walking, cycling or taking transit is strongly encouraged.
  • The Downtown Victoria Bike Valet will be open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
