Project scope
The City is upgrading a storm drain outfall on Dallas Road to reduce flood risk and protect the storm system. The project is expected to be completed in early fall 2026.
Why now?
Work is scheduled during the summer fisheries window to minimize impacts on fish and marine habitat.
The project is partially funded by a grant provided through Infrastructure Canada’s Disaster Mitigation and Adaption Fund (DMAF).

While work is underway you can expect the following impacts:
- Temporary loss of on-street parking
- Closure of Dallas Rd. near the Memorial Cres. intersection (detour via Moss St., May St. and Memorial Cres.)
- Construction noise and vibrations
