Topaz Park Improvements

Project status
Underway

Project scope

Phase two improvements include a pickleball hub (11 new courts), an outdoor fitness area, a central gathering space, a misting station and connecting pathways. This project is expected to be completed in fall 2025.

Why now?

Council approved the 10-year Topaz Park Improvement Plan in June 2018 following extensive community engagement. Phase one upgrades were completed in 2023. Mirroring national trends, demand for pickleball facilities continues to grow in Victoria. The new pickleball hub will help to accommodate this demand and improve access for players of all ages and levels.

Project Impacts

While work is underway you can expect the following impacts:

  • Partial closure of the Glasgow Street parking lot
  • Traffic disruptions on Glasgow Street
