Symphony Splash 2025: What you need to know

Symphony Splash is back for the first time since 2019!

This year, the event expands to two days featuring performances on a floating stage in the Inner Harbour, all-ages activities, community stage performances, and food and beverage vendors. This event is free and open to the public. 

Dates: Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3
Location: Victoria Inner Harbour 
 

Getting There

  • Walking, cycling or taking transit is recommended.
  • BC Transit will run additional buses after evening concerts.
  • The Government St. (Legislature) bus exchange will be closed from noon-11 p.m. both days.
  • The Downtown Victoria Bike Valet will be open, just a 10-minute walk from the Inner Harbour.
    • Saturday Aug. 2, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
    • Sunday Aug. 3, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.


Viewing Areas

  • Performances can be viewed from the Legislature lawn, Belleville Street and Government Street.
  • Seating on the lower causeway opens at 2:30 p.m. daily. Space is limited.


Road closures & parking 
Parking Restrictions:

No street parking from 7 a.m. Saturday, August 2 to 1 a.m. Monday, August 4 on:

  • Government St.
  • Belleville St.
  • Menzies St. 

Road Closures:

August 2 and 3, noon-11 p.m.

  • Belleville Street (Government to Douglas St.)
  • Government Street (Humboldt to Superior St.)

    August 2 at noon to August 4 at 1 a.m.
  • Belleville Street (Government to Menzies St.)
  • Plan ahead. Use alternate routes where possible.
