Project scope
The City is replacing an end-of-life sewer lift station on Superior Street near the Oswego Street intersection.
Why now?
Upgrading our underground assets helps serve our growing community, reduces future maintenance costs and protects critical infrastructure from earthquakes and climate events.
The project is partially funded by a grant provided through Infrastructure Canada’s Disaster Mitigation and Adaption Fund (DMAF).
Project impacts
Remaining impacts include:
• Construction fencing
• A bike lane closure adjacent to the site
• Periodic construction activity
• Odour
• Noise from the systems fans
