City of Victoria facilities will be observing the holiday schedule below for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Police, fire, and emergency streets and utility services are available 24/7.

Curbside Organics and Garbage Collection
No collection on Thursday, Dec. 25 and Thursday, Jan. 1. Only route D will be collected on Dec. 26. Please refer to the Waste Collection schedule.
Saturday Yard and Garden Waste Drop-Off
Drop-off at the Public Works yard will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 20 and 27. This service is for Victoria residents only and not for commercial use. For more information, call 250.361.0400 or view the Yard & Garden Waste webpage.
Parking
Parking will be free at City parkades and at on-street meters for Thursday, Dec. 25, Friday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 1. City of Victoria parkades are always free on Sundays, holidays and daily after 8 p.m. Learn more about parking downtown.
