The City of Victoria is temporarily shifting resources to address a significant backlog of storm-related repairs following recent rain events.
Crews in Public Works continue to respond to a high volume of service requests, property damage assessments and storm system repairs. To ensure public safety, crews are prioritizing storm repair work and temporarily delaying some normally planned underground servicing work, including some capital projects and developer-driven service installations.
Emergency responses, such as watermain breaks, will continue to receive immediate attention.
The City appreciates the community’s patience as crews complete this essential work. Regular service response will resume as soon as possible.
