Victoria at Dusk is a free, self‑guided night walk through five glowing zones filled with illuminated art, live performances and hands‑on activities. Start at the community hub at Ship Point to pick up a map, grab a snack and ease into the experience.

How to experience it
Follow the trail
Explore the self‑guided route through the heart of the city. Download the interactive map, scan the on‑site QR code or pick up a printed version at the information booth at Ship Point.

Discover the magic
See projections and illuminated installations. Join workshops, hands‑on activities and live performances from dance to hip hop, plus stories from Knowledge Keepers and local creatives.

Make it a winter night out
Bundle up with friends and family. Enjoy food trucks, a beer garden and DJs at the Ship Point hub, then explore four more zones with different creative themes. Plan for at least one hour or make a full night of it downtown.

Timed highlights
Many installations run every night. A few moments are time‑specific. Check the full schedule at victoriaatdusk.ca.

  • Friday, 5:30 p.m., join the Lekwungen Dancers at the Royal BC Museum
  • Friday night, Candlelit Chocolate Fondue Concert at the Francophone Society (plus a special art exhibition on Sunday night)
  • Friday and Saturday night, pop-up dance at Bastion Square including a projection and augmented reality-enhanced dancer, Sarah Hin Ching U
  • Saturday and Sunday night, join the Aunty Collective for cedar weaving at the Royal BC Museum
  • Sunday night, Bastion Square drop‑in Indigenous music silent disco with Coulee Ross and DJs


See you downtown
Follow the lights, gather your people and enjoy three nights of light, art and discovery.
The City’s free bike valet will stay open late from Feb. 13 to 15, with secure parking until 9:30 p.m. We’ll watch over all active transportation devices including adaptive and cargo bikes, trailers, jogging strollers and personal mobility devices so you can enjoy your time downtown.
