VICTORIA, B.C. — The City of Victoria is launching a new online court booking system, making it easier than ever to book a tennis or pickleball court in advance.

The new system allows players to quickly check availability, secure a court up to three weeks in advance and avoid the uncertainty of showing up at a busy court. The new reservation system gives players more choice and flexibility. At the same time, dedicated drop in courts will be available at select locations, while preserving the opportunity for spontaneous play that many residents value.

“As demand for court time grows, we’re focused on making it easier for players to find and book a court,” said Derrick Newman, Director of Parks and Recreation. “This new system helps take the guesswork out of finding a court.”

The new system was designed in response to the 2024 Regional Pickleball Strategy for Victoria, Saanich, Oak Bay and Esquimalt, which identified strong demand for more reliable court time through reservations.
