The Community Housing Renewal Grant Program is a one-time grant opportunity funded through the Government of Canada’s Housing Accelerator Fund.
The City has awarded nearly $ 1 million in Community Housing Renewal Grants to fund seven projects that preserve and enhance diverse non-market housing types across Victoria.
Affordable housing investments help preserve existing units, improve living conditions for vulnerable residents and deliver a cost-effective way to maintain and expand housing stability in the community.

The grant was open to non-government, non-profit owners or operators of existing non-market, multi-unit buildings at least 20 years old located in the City of Victoria.
