Applications are now open for Launch Victoria, a City of Victoria and Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce pilot program designed to help local entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses.
Five entrepreneurs will be selected for the inaugural one-year cohort. The program is designed to help participants build skills, make connections and become part of Victoria's business community.
Participants will receive ongoing support from the City's business ambassador, a complimentary one-year Chamber membership and access to business coaches with expertise in areas such as web development, accounting, marketing and legal services.
“Small businesses help make Victoria a welcoming and resilient community,” said Mayor Marianne Alto. “Launch Victoria will help local entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality while contributing to the economic and social wellbeing of our city.”
Participants will also have access to Chamber networking events, boardroom access, an exclusive LinkedIn group and promotional opportunities through Chamber and City channels.
“Entrepreneurs are essential to Victoria’s economy and to the fabric of our community,” said John Wilson, CEO of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce. “Launch Victoria will help new business owners build the connections, confidence and practical skills they need to succeed. The Chamber is proud to partner with the City of Victoria on a program that supports local ideas, local investment and local opportunity.”
Applications are open until Sept. 9, 2026. The program begins in October.
