Grants range from $15,000 to $250,000 per project with a total of $250,000 of available funding.
Organizations interested in applying should attend the free online information session on Wednesday, January 29 at 7 p.m. to learn more about the grant guidelines and eligibility.
Accessible and affordable arts and cultural spaces play a vital role in fostering community connections, providing places for individuals to create, practice, host events and engage with others. Last year, recipients included the White Eagle Polish Association, Victoria Conservatory of Music, Theatre SKAM and the Bayanihan Cultural and Housing Society.
A vibrant arts and culture sector boosts both the local economy and community wellbeing. The Cultural Infrastructure Grant program, established in 2021, supports this growth by aligning with the City’s 2023-2026 Strategic Plan, which aims to invest in art, theatre and music spaces and to use City-owned property to advance the Create Victoria Arts and Culture Master Plan and the Victoria Music Strategy.
Applications are due by February 25, 2025. For more information, visit victoria.ca/cg.
