The City has implemented the Development Permit Fee Waiver Bylaw to provide a fee holiday for municipal permits. The goal is to encourage housing development and reduce economic costs for residents by temporarily removing municipal permit fees.
The year-long fee holiday is in effect January 29, 2026, to January 29, 2027, and is available to anyone requiring a City permit or rezoning for planning and development activities.
