Extreme weather warnings are in effect across Greater Victoria.

  • Very strong winds with gusts of up to 90 km/h are expected today. Damage from winds and utility outages are possible. Secure loose items around your home and be cautious of broken tree limbs and other hazards outdoors. 
  • Large waves due to wind, storm surge and high tides are causing high water levels and coastal flooding. Use caution near shorelines, especially in low-lying areas.

Some roads, parks and trails are closed for public safety.

Follow directions of signs, workers and safety equipment. Do not enter closed areas.

-    Ross Bay Seawall, Clover Point to Memorial Crescent
-    Holland Point Park, lower walkway
-    Westsong Walkway, Barnard Park to Rainbow Park
