We’re bringing the party to the BC Legislature lawn and Belleville Street with a full day of high-energy, live music and entertainment, ending the night with a performance by the incredible DJ Shub, Victoria Inner Harbour's first ever drone show and fireworks.

2022 Juno Contemporary Indigenous Artist of the Year, DJ Shub will headline the celebration. Considered to be the Godfather of PowWowStep, DJ Shub has pioneered a growing genre of electronic music. Born Dan General, he is a Mohawk, turtle clan of the Six Nations of the Grand River in Ontario. In 2022, he won Indigenous Artist of the Year at the Indies at Canadian Music Week.

The drone show will be curated and designed by celebrated contemporary Indigenous artist, Rande Cook as part of the grand finale. The seven-minute show will take place right after the headliner and feature ultra-high lumen drones flying in beautiful, mesmerizing formations. The event will culminate with an iconic fireworks display.

Hey Ocean, Mauvey, Posh Coat, Yvonne Kushe and the lək̓ʷəŋən Traditional Dancers will be just some of the artists featured in a diverse showcase of powerful, live performances on the main stage. Large screens will reflect and celebrate diverse voices, from grassroots artists to cultural leaders.

An International Food Village on Belleville Street will provide an array of local food trucks offering a global feast. The Family Zone on the Legislature lawns will feature a variety of kid-friendly activities hosted by the Victoria Fire Department, Victoria Bug Zoo and the Royal British Columbia Museum.
