Free Neighbourhood Mending Social

Show your wardrobe some love! Mending is a simple skill that can extend the lifespan of a beloved garment, allowing you to continue wearing it for years to come while keeping textile waste out of landfill. Join us for this beginner-friendly session and learn about mending in a supportive group environment. Instructors will demonstrate basic techniques to repair knitwear. Show off your creativity with visible mending or do a subtle mend to compliment the original fabric. These sessions are possible thanks to the Beehive Wool Shop Foundation and the City of Victoria's My Great Neighbourhood Grant program, allowing us to offer them for free.
