The NeighbourSpace is currently closed, as we move to an exciting new location just across the street. Check back here in early November to book the space for fall.
Welcome to the NeighbourSpace!
Centrally located at the back of the Victoria Conference Centre, the NeighbourSpace is a great place to host community building activities, casual gatherings and meetings. The City of Victoria is committed to making this free space available to help foster collaboration and connection among residents.
New Location: Opening this fall
Location: 708 Douglas Street (near the Douglas Street entrance to the Victoria Conference Centre)
Hours of Operation: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., daily

Amenities
This new space includes a larger room for community groups to gather rather than two smaller spaces.
The space includes:
- four 6-foot long rectangular tables and four 3-foot square table
- 20 chairs
- two whiteboards (please bring your own markers and brush)
- a projector stand and screen (please bring your own projector)
- free Wi-Fi
- three small sofas
- an accessible washroom
- a small lending library of community development books and neighbourhood resources
Accessibility
There is an accessible entrances at ground level and an accessible washroom.
Who Can Apply to Book This Space
If you are a Victoria resident or local non-profit organization focused on community building, the NeighbourSpace could be a great fit for you. Local groups or individuals looking for an occasional gathering space can apply to use the space at no charge. Please read the Q&A below to learn more.
